There were limited options, but enough to make lunch enjoyable. However, the mushroom cakes we ordered were disappointingly bland. They were meant to be a vegan version of crab cakes, but they lacked flavor. The Pesto Panini came with tasteless pasta on the side. While the dish was nicely presented, the noodles seemed to be swimming in a pool of oil and water, indicating they may not have been strained properly. The ramen also left much to be desired, lacking depth of flavor from the broth to the tofu and vegetables.

Melange is a cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a nice selection of cocktails, wines, and beers. The vegan options on the menu include simple appetizers like fries, olives, and edamame, as well as main dishes like a mushroom chickpea burger (available vegan), mushroom tagliatelle pasta, and eggplant rice bowl. I opted for the burger without the egg, which had good texture but was a bit crumbly. It was served with fries and salad, but each side dish cost an additional $3, making the total cost of $23 for a mediocre burger seem a bit pricey.
