Kasira Fine Thai Cuisine - Nanaimo

This is my first negative review of a restaurant. The prices on their website are out of date by quite a bit, costing much more than expected because of it. We had the yellow and green curry, both of which did not taste like what they usually do. The yellow curry had Indian spices in it instead of Thai and the green curry didn’t even look like a curry. I was very shocked, a friend of the owners suggested it to me and I was disappointed to have so many issues. The soup and pad Thai we had were good, but overshadowed by everything wrong honestly.

Well, the portion size is definitely fine dining level, but not the taste. Aside front the soup, which is very spicy(hot) , the rest of the foods are quite bland. Bit disappointed since they have such a good rating on Google.

Great to find close-to authentic Thai food in nanaimo. Delicious, I chose Red Curry with Thai spice. Hot delicious. Potstickers not heated up enough. Good Thai sauce on them. Friendly attentive service. Spoke with Joy the chef. Sincere Thai hospitality.

I feel fortunate to have access to such excellent Thai cuisine here in Nanaimo!

Popped into here because it was next to my hotel. Was pleasantly surprised. Food was hot and fresh and came reasonably fast. I had the crispy chicken and it was quite good.
