You have a menu with pizzas, burgers, daily lunch (if I was there it Mac and cheese) various types of frits, such as sweet potatoes or garlic frying. In addition, they have many vegan pastries. We bought the cinnamon roll and a cookie and it was delicious making the food She definitely full
That's Artcaffe prices for a cheap looking hole in the wall place. 1300 for tofu hash, pancakes and home fries? The egg equivalent in Java House is barely a third of that and that place is considered a ripoff. I just laughed and walked out.
Edit:: if the owner is from Atlanta she is certainly not in the building. The flavors are good but it is definitely not soul food flavors as described. I think this would have been a 4 star review if not for the 2 hour wait. The mac and cheese taste more like a cheesy macaroni salad but hey
Soul Veg is an absolute treat. The restaurant is 100% vegan and has some amazing offerings like vegan mac and cheese, seitan barbecue, pizza, burgers, pastries, all sorts their menu in the restaurant is bigger than the one posted online. The quality of the food is top notch, and is clearly made with care and passion. This is *the* vegan restaurant in Nairobi, and it's only a matter of time before more people catch on to this gem. Also, unlike another reviewer said, the place actually has ample outside (covered) seating.
This is one of the best places for vegans I have eaten at in Nairobi. Food was soooo good, a little slow to be served but was worth the wait! Our server was really lovely too!
