Emerald Garden - Nairobi

This is one of the best restaurants I visited in the larger gigiri area. The presentation, delivery and service is over. Staff is friendly and always ready to help whenever called. And even better, they seem like they really love their work You have the right attitude and are always happy. The food is the best and in very generous portions. Great workers!

Now called Yao. This beautiful landscape has beautiful gardens right next to UN Gigiri with many embassies and UN offices. The restaurant sets a unique ambience from the city's hectic. From a beautiful mix of well-made and unique Asian flavors, from very mild to angry hot. This restaurant offers a good selection of Asian cuisine from different regions. My favorite and a must try is the Tomkha chicken soup. it only has the right mix of aroma and warmth. The gardens offer a large open area, ideal for families with children. The seating is very comfortable from as little as two people to larger parties, all can be accommodated in this restaurant. The decor also follows the theme and flows with authentic Asian roofs, statues and architecture. The kitchen is also dynamic from sushi to Thai and Chinese dishes as well as continental desserts. This place is not disappointed. For larger parties, bookings are very advised and taste/warm preferences during ordering is necessary to avoid too mild or too hot items. All in all a very good experience in the heart of Gigiri.
