Viva Mexican Grill - Nags Head

The food itself was disappointing; the beans, rice, and salsa lacked any real flavor. The queso and sour cream resembled and tasted like plain milk. Additionally, the paper used to serve the food was so thin that it started to disintegrate from the queso and sour cream, leaving us eating bits of paper halfway through our meal. The portions of beans and rice on the nacho platter were minimal, and we didn’t feel comfortable asking the staff for more. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don’t be deceived by the low prices; it definitely isn’t worth it.

This is the freshest Mexican food around! The burritos are generously filled and bursting with flavor. They offer a great selection of salsas to add some heat, especially their chipotle sauce. The shopping center can be a bit tricky to navigate, especially if you need to make left turns, but the food here is absolutely worth it.

We stopped by this restaurant after visiting Bodie Lighthouse and before heading to Jockey's Ridge for a quick bite. It not only satisfied our hunger but was also delicious! My husband ordered the chicken taco salad and I had the shrimp quesadilla. Our food arrived swiftly, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. There was hot sauce available on the counter next to the napkins, allowing us to customize the spice level to our liking. Plus, the prices were just right for a quick lunch. If you're in the Nags Head area, definitely make a stop here – it’s well worth it!

We came here for fast quick mexican food not a sit down restaurant. The food hit the spot. We got a burrito, nachos, and quesadilla. We finished it all. The quest was very good. I would come again if you want quick quality mexican food. I amimpressed. Great concept. Ideal size of a burrito so I do not fall asleep in a couple of hours from food coma. The food hit thespot for my family. Check out this place if your area.

Food was Ok and kinda expensive for what you get. We ordered chicken tacos, chicken nachos and a chipotle chicken burrito. The burrito had good flavor but very little cheese. My family liked the tacos and nachos but they did not have much meat for theprice. There are better options at OBX.
