Sugar Creek Seafood - Nags Head

The food at this restaurant was delicious and great value for the price. The waitresses and hostess were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially since we were dining with an infant. The views from the restaurant were stunning, especially during lunchtime. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area again.

This restaurant has the best sunsets. The food was delicious, although they ran out of cornbread and pasta. Our waitress was very friendly and apologized for the lack of bread, but we did arrive late. The seafood Quesadilla was absolutely amazing. Cheers!

Came in just in time for a magnificent sunset! Had a party of five and we had the whole shebang, cocktails, apps, dinners and desserts. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.. Food was delicious and expertly prepared. The fried green tomatoes, scallops and crab cakes were delish. Highly recommend saving room for dessert.

The service was friendly and attentive but the cooking was mediocre. My fish was overcooked and dry, and the shrimp were also tough. Not a lot of flavor. The scallops and the baked potatoes were the best items we ordered. The fried green tomatoes were drenched in Thai sweet hot sauce, so you couldn't taste the tomatoes. I would reduce the sauce and stirfry the bed of cabbage they were served on or shift to a remoulade sauce. However, the cornbread and hushpuppies appetizers were excellent. We liked the Sunday **** Mary cocktails.

The restaurant is pet-friendly on the deck and offers great service with an awesome view. We ordered the calamari and the Steamer for 2. The calamari was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly with a crispy batter that wasn't too heavy and at a reasonable price. However, we were disappointed with the Steamer for 2 as it only came with one corn and an uneven number of crab legs (4 legs, 1 claw). The flavor was bland and tasted like everything was boiled in plain water with a touch of Cajun seasoning. Overall, a mixed experience with great calamari but lacking in the Steamer for 2.
