Pizza of Death Keep Walking!!!!! DO NOT EAT AT SBARRO!!!! On March 19th, my party of 2 and I arrived early for our flight and decided to sit down and dine. The other 2 of my party had the individual slice of pepperoni pizza and I had the individual slice of sausage stuffed pizza; we also had 2 bottled teas and 1 can soda, total $550 peso (550 divided by 16 is $34.38 US). By far the most expensive meal we had in Mexico. Well, long story short, something must have been bad/rotten in the stuff pizza because I became extremely sick. The entire flight home was miserable; I was throwing up on the flight and after. Now, I am assuming the airport has some sort of rules and regulations for all vendors within the airport and I can only assume they are not enforcing such rules/regulations based on previous reviews for Sbarro. From now on, I will eat street tacos in Puerto Vallarta before boarding my flight
TRAVELER'S DIARRHEA RISK!!! My wife and I spent 7 days in Cabo. We ate all our meals at the hotel except for a piece of pizza that we got from Sbarro at the airport on the way out. Two days after we got home we both developed horrendous traveler's diarrhea. Sure, it's possible that we got it from the 5-star resort that we have never had an issue with and have visited multiple times. That said, I know it had to be from Sbarro. The timing of symptoms is very telling. Considering that other people had the same experience I would strongly suggest you stay away from this place. The pizza was sub-par for Sbarro and overpriced. Save yourself the misery and just get a bag of pretzels at the airport.
If you're reading this, you probably just paid a ton of money for way below average food. Pizza was not as good as most Sbarro. Mine was cold under-cooked. Cost: $47 usd for (2) slices cheese, (1) slice pepperoni, (1) small caesar salad
Gross. Cesar Salad brown old lettuce. Cold, thin, runny marinara for the stale bread. The lasagna is a thin pancake. Not the quality found in airports in the states.
