Beef was bland and dry, and there was too much rice. We also ordered kuro black ramen and it was so weird because it tasted too sweet? Like someone swapped salt and sugar? Price was outrageous, too expensive for a dismal meal. They have a working credit card terminal but when I asked if I could pay with card, they refused. Staff seemed nonchalant and unhappy to be serving. Don't understand the hype around this resto, I had a terrible experience. So far from the authentic Japanese restaurants I've tried.
Affordable price points for ramen shop, highly recommended
This is one of my fave japanese restos. I really love their Karaage and of course, their ramens.
The Seafood Ramen that I like to eat was not available when we dined in so I asked for a Chicken Ramen, but they told me that it's also available. I asked for Chicken Tonkatsu, but the staff told me that it's also not available. I was about to leave, but I realized that the other restaurants were also full so I settled for the Honey Glazed which I was not craving for at that time. I didn't enjoy it, not because it's not delicious, but because it's not really what I want to eat at that time.
Love the taste and big servings, worth it for the value of money. It tastes the same when you have the original ramen sauce from Japan. Maki are also a lot but not too pricey but still tasted good! Same with the mandu!
