Swapna - Naas legal town

Mohammed warmly greeted us and was very attentive throughout our visit. The tandoori chicken starter was cooked from fresh, succulent, a generous portion and served hot. My chicken jalfrezi was madras hot with a generous portions of capsicums, tomatoes and onions and the indian spices infused succulently with the poultry, vegetables and tomatoes. It was served hot along with pilau rice and the freshly cooked chicken melted in my mouth. My wife Deborah has dietary needs, so the chef cooked two plain chicken breasts with lemon, coriander and black pepper served in cubes with sizling hot onions and a side salad. The price was reasonable and our only regret was that we don't have time to go back before we go back home as they are currently closed on Tuesdays. From my wife's and my experience the negative reviews are completely out off synch with our experience last night and can only summise that at least some of them were written by rivals and/or disgruntled customers with a hidden agenda. We would definitely return to Swapna on our next visit to Naas.

I was looking forward to my fortnightly takeaway from Swapna Indian restaurant in Naas. To my chagrin the main dish, the lamb phall tasted bitter and sour. To put it simply it was inedible. Has Swapna now lowered its standards to the level of sub par cuisine? It's a real shame as I can no longer look forward to the produce of this once fine establishment. Quite simply there are other eateries offering a consistently high standard of service and I for one won't waste my time or taste buds on below standard fare. What a shame though.

Have ordered from here a lot over the years and have ignored how rude and unappreciative the owner is of my custom. His manner is just appalling. I've decided to take my money to one of the many other Indian restaurants in Naas that has good customer service and a smile.

We regularly get a take-away from here and their food is always top class. We have always found delivery to be quick and with a very friendly delivery driver. The meat in their dishes is melt in your mouth and I could not favour one over the other as we have never had a bad meal from here. Lamb Jalfrezi would be one of my favourites. There is a car park right beside this restaurant, which is always a bonus. We will be visiting here once the lockdown is lifted.
