Las Radas Wine Tapas - Naas legal town

I've been here a few times over the years and always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. However, last night was different. Staff are very nice but clearly not trained. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was deposited on the table. No offer to taste it and the server didn't pour it either. At this point we were the only two people upstairs. So they weren't busy. We weren't told the specials and when I asked about the scallops I wasn't told they come with black pudding. I don't eat meat. During the meal we asked for salt and pepper and a few paper sachets were handed over. Really? Like in a chipper? The server came over and checked our bottle of wine and just walked away leaving our glasses empty. The food was average. The staff seemed really nice as usual but don't know basic service like pouring wine. The salt and pepper was unbelievable in a place that isn't cheap. €140 for two people. I'd expect more. So disappointing. Maybe it changed hands or management. These are easy fixes and I hope our experience was a one off and not the norm now

Been here a few times and to be honest the service seems to be getting worse. We ordered as a table of 4 and everything was brought at once, there was not enough space on the table. Had to chase the staff to get a drink and when ordered had to wait for about 10 minutes before chasing them again to find out where the drinks where. We asked if they sold Guinness on draft and were told yes, to be eventually after more chasing being brought what looked like a glass of coke with an ice cream head (sent it straight back) defo not draft. Credit where credit is due the food is good, expensive but good, the service just drags the whole experience down. Nothing worse than the focus of the conversation in a restaurant turning to the poor service. Finally if you are seated upstairs it is a totally different atmosphere and not in a good way, so avoid booking upstairs if you are going to try them out for yourself. Sorry just wouldn’t recommend.

Hands down my favourite tapas restaurant and the staff and quality of food is second to none
