New York Deli - N. McAllen

Excellent service, food is awesome! Good for families also or simply if you are in a mood for a sandwich this is the place.

The real deal deli. I love eating at this restaurant. Better go early as it is always popular.

It is a very nice place New York , Beetles styled deli. I have come in multiple times and each time the service from waiters, chefs and greetings are amazing. The food is exceptional. There is a decently sized menu with many options, most items come with a small portion of salads or potatoes. In terms of people there is two floors bottom floor is for smaller groups of people 2-4 while the top is for bigger groups 5-10+. The few times I've come in it's early from 12-3pm ish and over time it does start getting more full. I do recommend it especially for a family lunch. 100% family friendly.

This was my first time coming here and I was not disappointed! The service was great! Everyone was very welcoming. The space is small but we were able to snag a table for two upon walking in. We didn't have a specific waiter but that was ok because everyone that came up to our table was really nice. I ordered the Carnegie which was Pastrami, melted Swiss and spicy mustard on rye bread. The meat was delicious and the bread was toasted to perfection. I upgraded to fries (3.75 I believe) and the were so good! I love fresh cut fries. Their fresh squeezed lemonade was so refreshing. Someone brought by their homemade Russian dressing and the spicy version was tasty and had great heat to it. The overall space reminded me of some of the deli spots you'd find in New York, which I thought was a nice touch. I didn't see the space upstairs but I highly recommend getting there early if you have a larger group. Other than that I think this spot is perfect for a quick bite because we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to come out. I can't wait to go back and try something new! Everything those waiters were bringing out looked delicious!

Great food great service, the Chicken tortilla soup when available is delicious all the food is fresh! Great lunch Spot!
