This restaurant has a classic fish market vibe, which is a wonderful throwback. When you walk in, you feel the chill of the place. They have a variety of shellfish on ice that you can personally select. There is a wide range of fresh fish to choose from as well. The staff is fantastic and definitely deserving of a tip. This is the best spot in the area with reasonable prices.

I just finished eating 3 pounds of some of the best steamed clams I have ever had. One of the highlights of the experience was being able to choose my own shellfish, laid out on ice. Whether you prefer small, soft shell clams or medium or large ones, it's your choice. I particularly enjoyed the 3 pounds of delicious medium-sized soft shell clams from Maine, priced at $2.99 in May of 2024 – unbeatable. Living in Litchfield County, I found that the quality of the clams was not as good and they were more than twice as expensive. All of their fresh seafood looked amazing, although I am not certain if it was all sourced locally or mostly sourced locally. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Amazingly fresh seafood right by the waterfront! You won't find anything fresher. Wonderful variety to choose from and reasonably priced.

By far the best fish market I’ve ever been in. Everything so fresh, as evidenced by the smell of the sea that greats you when you step in the door. No stinky fish smell here. Great prices too. We love Seawell’s.
