We enjoyed dishes like mussels, cheese curds, Bavarian pretzels, pork belly, mac and cheese, pulled pork, shepherd’s pie, and more. The drinks were equally impressive, including a Peach Old Fashioned (whiskey), The Painkiller (a coconut rum slushie), and Rosa Blasen (vodka). Our server, Pamela, was hilarious and added to the great experience. We spent about $50 per person, which included taxes and a generous tip. With live music and exceptional service, it was truly an enjoyable outing!
Friar Tucks is a fantastic spot with two distinct atmospheres! If you're in the mood for the lively vibe of an Irish pub, this place is unbeatable. For those who prefer a quieter setting, perfect for enjoying a pleasant conversation over delicious Irish cuisine, they offer a cozy, heated back terrace that's great for winter. What’s not to love about this warm and welcoming place? The food is superb, and they have a wide range of beers available, particularly Irish options. I personally enjoyed discovering their hard Guinness cream ale—so creamy and slightly sweet! The fish and chips are excellent, and if you’re in the mood for comfort food, I highly recommend the generous bowl of house mac n' cheese topped with pulled pork and a drizzle of barbecue sauce—OUTSTANDING! Lastly, our server Aiden was fantastic. He made the experience truly enjoyable, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing us to enjoy our quiet lunch. Great job overall!
We decided to stop by on a whim while looking for dinner and to try some microbrews. I really enjoyed the Scottish egg, which paired nicely with the färgers and mashed potatoes. My wife had the fish and chips and found it to be excellent. We would definitely come back.
You can't hit here! We travel over the east coast for St.patrick's day and this place has the best horned beef and cabbage dinner. You have a wide selection of other Irish dinners and traditional restaurant dishes. Great little local feeling. Friendly hardworking waitress. Prices are good and servings are great. If your whisky lover this is your place, with 4 menu pages whisky from all over the world.
Very impressed with the British crossover throughout the menu. I had my first go at bangers and mash here, in an Irish pub, with British sausages- while in CT. How perfect! Friendly and attentive service as well and family friendly. P.S… sorry I got into the B’n’M before I thought to get a photo.
