The restaurant is not expensive, but the food is definitely worth it. For three people, our bill was $36 plus tax. The menu is not entirely vegan, but they do a good job with their options. Our server was very friendly and new to the concept of veganism. I highly recommend the noodles, as they were delicious, as well as their curry. If available, try the teas with the option of coconut milk. This review was updated on September 19, 2021.
My partner and I were searching for a restaurant in Myrtle Beach with vegan dinner options available on a Monday night past 7 o'clock. We stumbled upon this small place that was still open. We ordered two dishes to share at our resort. The first dish was the Thai basil roasted rice with mixed vegetables, which was packed with fresh crispy vegetables and basil sticky rice - delicious! The second dish was the yellow curry with tofu, bamboo shoots, carrots, and potatoes. The curry came in a large plastic container and was enough food for two adults, including white rice. My partner always checks the restroom and kitchen to make sure everything is clean. He gave both areas a thumbs up. I noticed on the menu they also offer vegan spring rolls, fresh rolls, noodle dishes, sticky rice, and tofu options. As a side note, we also tried the ginger honey tea - warm and infused with real chunks of ginger. Yum!
The fresh spring rolls were tasty, but I would have preferred traditional peanut sauce instead of the Thai sauce. The pad Thai noodles were clumpy and the flavor was a bit too vinegary for my liking, but it was decent. The side of steamed vegetables was excellent. My husband thought the coconut mushroom soup was mediocre and filling (he added the noodles on the side), The waitress was not very friendly or attentive, and seemed bossy and difficult to understand.
Not highly expensive, definitely worth the food. For three people it was 36 plus tax. It's not completely vegan but they definitely accomodate well. Our server was really nice and new what vegan meant. Highly recommend the noodles they were delicious and so was their curry. Definitely try the teas if you can, they have a coconut milk option.
