Red Lobster - Myrtle Beach

Red Lobster is a family friendly restaurant with a wonderful menu. I ordered two To-Go dinners. While waiting, I had the delicious chocolate wave cake with ice cream and a raspberry lemonade. Yum! Ms. Johnnie Giddens, the general manager, noticed my service dog and brought him a bowl of water. She was very cheerful and friendly. The restaurant is immaculate, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is superb. My to-go order consisted of fish and chips, which I had for dinner last night. I also ordered the mouthwatering coconut shrimp (I've had it before and love it! and the cheese biscuits that Red Lobster is famous for. I highly recommend Red Lobster for its wide variety of food, drinks, and desserts to please everyone. An added bonus is that there is a pond nearby that has a large number of swimming turtles! My dog and I were delighted to watch them swim around. I took a lot of videos and a few pictures. You can't beat this for dinner and a show!

Been here a few different times over the years and tonight was a pleasant reminder of how great the service is here. Our waitresses have always went above and beyond for me and my partner to make the meal enjoyable, memorable, and special. The drinks are (generally) pretty good and we 'll made. Admittedly this last time the LIT I got was a little lacking on alcohol considering what it is. The last time our drinks were amazing (it 's all who makes it, obviously). Overall, this is a very nice, quiet place that has a nice date night ambience to it. Prices range from $12 for a modest appetizer to $40+, it 's seafood so you get what you pay for. PS, they had these cute little succulents in the bathroom and I was tipsy and took a picture, enjoy it.

We have always visited Red Lobster when tourist season is over. Living 25 miles inland, it it always a nice ride to the beach for the sites and a visit for all you can eat shrimp. We were seated, and waited for a good while before our server came to take our drink order. Delivered our drinks and then took our food order. Was back and forth several times because he couldn't get the amount and right sides down. We got our food, was hot and good. but the wife was missing her baked potato. She ate as slow as she could, but had almost cleared her plate before it came out. I had long been done my first order of shrimp, and ordered two more selections when he came back with the potato. I had ordered two, but they came out one at a time, and seemed like forever when my second selection came out. I finished my food, and wanted to try the other selections, but decided against simply because we would have been there forever. I feel like I got ripped off because of the bad service we got. Very disappointed to say the least. I don't know if it was lack of kitchen help, or the service was just that bad. I could have easily eaten a few more servings of shrimp, but it just wasn't worth the wait. I don't know if we will go back again or not yet. It's a ride down to the beach for us, and there are restaurants all over Myrtle Beach screaming for customers in the off season!

Went yesterday terrible service will never go back! No staff had to go find the server and ask for drinks.

Wanting seafood, but not wanting to pay an arm and a leg, my husband and I chose to eat here while vacationing in the area. Everything we got was great! We got the create your own and chose Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp (amazing), Shrimp Scampi (amazing), Walt 's Shrimp (my husband enjoyed it) and we added Snow **** (also very good, even if it wasn 't very plentiful). The amount of shrimp we got was very plentiful. You get two sides with that meal....my husband got the fries and I got a baked potato. The potato was a little dry, and I had to ask a couple of times for extra butter and sour cream, but it was real good once I doctored it up a bit. I love baked potatoes that are rolled in salt. Of course the cheddar biscuits were great too! I 'm glad we chose to get our seafood fix taken care of here.
