Paisano Italian - Myrtle Beach

We decided to meet here for a big family dinner...party of 10 on a holiday weekend...and we 're glad they were able to accommodate us. They were short staffed, with only one server handling all tables, but he was definitely hustling and trying his best. It took a while to get our order in, but once we did, the food and drinks came out fairly quickly. Most importantly, the food was delicious! We came here for authentic Italian food as described on the website, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The complimentary bread is delicious, and the side salads were also very good with the homemade Italian dressing. I ordered the Mediterranean (vegetarian) pasta for my main dish, and it was fantastic. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend it...just remember they don 't serve alcohol (but you can bring your own).

Says authentic Italian but I got the chicken Parmesan and all it was was a grilled piece of chicken with mozzarella thrown on it and red sauce absolutely no Parmesan on the chicken or the whole plate and wasn?t offered any either! Husband got the lasagna, the noodles were tough and he had to cut it with a knife the bread was the best part about the meal. I don?t live in South Carolina so maybe just not used to their style of cooking! Would not recommend. OKIE gal!

Earlier review of this place commented on how the owner, Bill, was working hard, short staffed and needed positive support... I agree! Food was excellent, authentic, delicious! My six year old devoured the meatballs. Salad and bread were great starters. Pasta was fresh, marinara yummy! Support local hard working business owners like this... You won't regret it!

The worst food I?ve ever had. The chicken parmesan was $20 and was a frozen chicken patty with canned sauce slopped on top. The salad dressing was straight olive oil. The waiter couldn?t answer a single question about the menu, and didn?t know what alfredo sauce was.

Very nice atmosphere. Foor was great. The night we were there the owner was the only one working. He was cook, waiter, bus boy and anything else that a business like that requires. He did it all that night. His staff didn't show up for work. But he did a great job taking care of his customers. I will definitely come back again.
