King Kong Sushi - Myrtle Beach

We had lunch today at King Kong, and while the restaurant was half full, the service was decent but surprisingly slow. The food was great! We tried the Rainbow roll, Eel roll, spicy California roll, and more. We especially loved the ginger dressing on our salad. We were with a larger group, and there were just a few mix-ups with our orders. I’m giving it 4 stars overall due to the wait time. My ratings are as follows: Food Preparation 8/10, Service 6.5/10, Cleanliness 7/10, Value 8/10.

We had a fantastic experience at King Kong, thanks to the friendly staff who were very accommodating with our baby. We decided to visit based on a friend's recommendation, and we were not disappointed! Our server, Ireland, was exceptional; she was knowledgeable about the menu and expertly guided us through our dinner for two, tailored to my wife's preferences. Our older son also enjoyed his rolls, even though he lost a dumpling to the chopsticks! Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, but our standout favorite was the Rocket Roll – its texture and flavor were outstanding! We will definitely be back!

This is the best sushi I've had in years! Ally was an amazing server, always attentive and checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The service was incredibly fast, and they got our orders exactly right, even with our specific requests. We'll definitely be dining here whenever we're near Myrtle Beach!

Took our 17 year old daughter here for her birthday. She was very happy with the food (She's the sushi girl). The service was pleasant. Atmosphere was friendly

It was a busy Saturday night but we didn't have a long wait and definitely enjoyed our food here. The sushi was not the best I've ever had in my life but it was good. The soft shell crab was on point, really loved that. The shrimp siu mai was alright.My highlight that evening surprisingly was actually the ginger dressing for my salad! That was by far the tastiest gingerdressing I've ever had! Most likely will be back if we're visiting Myrtle Beach again.
