I agree with other reviews on wait time for take away, double the time quoted and a tad more. it seems that I am not alone with disappointment on food quality, tables empty on a Saturday night at 7.45 say a lot. I hope the management take the time to read the recent reviews. Won't be going back.
We have given this restaurant 3 attempts but it has not delivered each time. They give you a time to collect but you always need to triple it. When you arrive and wait for your order you can clearly see they are not working effectively at all. I have ordered both via the phone and face to face and no matter what our orders have been incorrect. We always receive a wrong dish. They also don’t fix the error, There is clearly no manager working on the floor as the staff don’t know what to do but blame each other. We have Thai at other restaurants which are much tastier and not so expensive and they get the order right. We will not be going back. We would not recommend this restaurant.
Food here is ok. We get take away a few times in a year. It is not as expensive as some other Thai places in the area but perfectly adequate. I ordered take away tonight and was told there was a wait of 45 minutes. That is fine. But when my husband went to pick up they hadn't even started cooking it. He said they found our order with the unpaid orders. When I called they never asked me to pay up front and never have before. So was disappointing that the 45 minute wait turned into an hour and a half. What is the point of phoning your order through and getting a time for pick up if they are not going to start cooking until you get there and pay. May not order there again.
I had booked online via their website. When we got there realised I had booked the wrong date (the week following) they were very gracious making room for us anyway rather than turning us away. Lovely people, lovely service.
Having recently moved into the area, and being aficionados of Thai cuisine, my wife and I booked a table for a Saturday night. We received a friendly greeting and were shown to a rather small table in a corner. Upon requesting a slightly larger table we were able to move to a more comfortable location. Being a weekend, the restaurant was very busy, particularly with takeaways. However, this in no way detracted from the efficient service. As an entree we shared a chilli squid dish. The batter was light and crunchy, the squid tender and the dipping sauce had the right amount of 'kick '. Our mains comprised a green chicken curry, chilli and basil stir fried king prawns and coconut rice. Although the green curry was a little more 'watery ' than anticipated, it was flavoursome and the sliced chicken pieces very tender. The prawn dish was the star of the night. The plump prawns were cooked to perfection, retaining a nice firmness. The vegetable in the stir fry were crisp and fresh not overcooked as sometimes can be the case. The accompanying rice was light and fluffy. Our bill for to came to $60 good value. We will be back. This is a small restaurant and I would suggest booking is essential. While the ambience is quite good, the smaller tables are inadequate if a couple wish to share dishes and still have room for water and wine bottles as well as glasses.
