Teca - Muskoka Lakes

My family and I are staying at the Marriott and weren't feeling like leaving the hotel that day to eat so we decided to try out Teca and weeeeee loved it.

Finished a great family meal, daughter loved the kids menu steak - came with a Cesar salad and desert.

We came here for one of our daughters' birthday. When we came for our reservation there was a mistake in the time. The manager was quick to apologize, seated us at the bar and bought us a round of drinks for the inconvenience of waiting for our table. We were seated shortly. We were seated at a beautiful circular booth. The staff were all so nice to our four children. The restaurant is fine dining and it has an elegant appearance, but the atmosphere is not at all uptight or snotty. I ordered a medium rare steak, but it came more rare/blue. The waiter quickly took it back with no hesitation and within a few minutes brought a brand new steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The appetizers were good and the desserts were amazing. Our waiter went above and beyond to make our kids (and us) happy and prepared three special desserts for the birthday girl. We will definitely return on our next visit.

We had a nice dinner here while staying at Marriott. Great rib eye steaks and crab cakes. Good desserts as well. Great service.

My husband and I ate at the Chophouse while staying at the resort. We had the crab cakes to start, which were amazing! We shared a large steak and 2 sides (family style) and a bottle of wine. The service and food were very good, but a bit overpriced.
