Day after day, month after month, he puts out a 10/10 product at a rate never before seen by the northeastern Muskegon community. Pro tip: I am a huge fan of the Italian beef sandwich, but ya gotta order it Chicago style with the giardinera, cheese, and jus.
The atmosphere here kinda reminds me of an Old New York Italian Restaurant from the movies. It's not a very big place, but it oozes charm and welcome! I really liked the feel of the place. I ordered 2 bread sticks $3) and the Grande Toasted Meat Ravioli $14). The bread sticks are huge, more like a loaf of bread. They are very sponge in a good way. Simply delicious. The Toasted Ravioli was very good. It had some minor flaws , like the meat was a. Little dry and there wasn't enough sauce. That being said I really enjoyed it, I'd probably suggest the combo version of cheese and meat though. The meal also came with a bread sticks, so ordering some was unnecessary. The person I was with ordered the Lasagna $12) and loved it. She can't wait to come back. The service was very friendly and helpful. Overall an easy 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely!
The food is always delicious, the service is always on point with friendly service, and it's such a cute little place. The pizza is always good, as well as the pasta, breadsticks and anything I've tried. 10/10
Delicious food, wonderful people and service and I highly recommend. Small and quaint inside and if that isn't your thing they have takeout that doesn't take long.
If you ate getting, what we Americans call traditional Italian food, spaghetti, lasagna, ravioli, I would say you are safe. As mentioned before, much like others, my husband loves the thick garlic bread. The last two times we were very disappointed with our meals. A rating of one would be generous. The chicken tetrazzini came out with rubber chicken, we mentioned this to our waitress, she apologized and said she would let the chef know. More recently we tried the special, which was a mushroom sauce with steak, served over fettuccine noodles. Even worse then the rubber chicken, was the inedible steak. Once you cut the fat away you were left with very little meat. The large pieces of meat were so tough I could not cut them with my knife. So we ate our salad, breadstick, and noodles with sauce. I showed the waitress my plate of fat and meat that could not be chewed. She apologized and took $5.00 off the meal. If we go back we will stick with the Italian dishes we know to be good. One other thing, although there seems to be turn around with the wait staff, we have always had courteous, pleasant, attentive waiters and waitresses.
