Big Cat's Cafe - Muscatine

Oh my goodness. I relocated from Houston a year ago and have been searching for my go-to spot. Big Cats is definitely it! The prices are fantastic, the food is amazing, and the coffee is top-notch. It doesn't get any better than Big Cats!

You can't go wrong with Big Cat's Cafe. Everything they offer is top-notch! They have a wide array of coffees, teas, sandwiches, and baked goods at affordable prices. The cafe also provides free WiFi and comfortable seating where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the view of the flowing River. It's a fantastic addition to downtown Muscatine.

I enjoyed this cozy setup with lots of natural lighting. I had hot cocoa which was rich and delicious and paired nicely with the spinach quiche that was pleasantly appetizing. Staff were very friendly. Price point is a bit high if you're looking for analternative to a chain or Starbucks but the flavor doesn't miss a beat!

During a work trip in Muscatine, Iowa, I wanted to surprise my team with some bakery breakfast treats. I asked the manager of The Merrill Hotel for a recommendation and he quickly suggested Big Cats, just one block away. The bakery had a wide variety of options including scones, muffins, and bars, all of which were delicious and fresh. They also offered a selection of coffees. The owner had a fantastic attitude and clearly had a passion for food. I was thrilled to have found this hidden gem and will definitely be returning. My personal favorite was the peach scone.

Owners are wonderful! Wonderfully delicious sandwiches and beverages! I've had the Cranberry Chicken salad sandwich and their veggie sandwich. Scrumptious! Strawberry banana smoothie and the Watermelon mint refreshing beverage (sorry, can't rememberactual name. It was posted right by the register. Oh my gosh! I'll be back for sure!
