South Fork Texas Steakhouse - Murphy

This place was horrible!! We had to wait a long time to be seated. They didn't have the item we were going for (lobster tail) . Asparagus was woody, crab was hollow and you didn't get enough to make it worth it, didn't get what was advertised on menu (did not get corn on the cob) , the prices were outrageous for what was served and the food was bland and mediocre at best. Then when the charge hit my account I guess they decided to add an extra tip because the amount that was charged to my account was not what I signed for still trying to get that rectified but nobody answers their phone. Very disappointed in almost everything about this experience.

First time and now my LAST! Only one person waiting the floor, food was blah and cost was outrageous.

Place was completely empty on a Saturday night at 8pm. I mean, no one in bar, no one in restaurant. We should have taken that as a sign and turned around. Other than the house salad, food was bland, lobster was chewy. Definitely no worth the high prices we paid. No plans to come back.

We all love Southfork and will keep going over and over.

New years Eve fixed menu. Service was great, good very good. Nice small place. We'll be back to try on a regular bought
