Sweet potato fries were not cooked fresh they were cold and limp even though I had to wait for my food past the time she said it would be ready (which wasnt long) I don't know why y'all are serving crab dip with STALE tortilla chips but it doesn't work. At least the crab dip tasted good. That was the only thing that was somewhat enjoyable. Oysters tasted horrible. I asked for lemons three times and still had to go back in and get them. Yikes. This is really sad for the amount I just paid for my food. Even my sandwich was cold so what was the wait for everything obviously sat. What I can't figure out is how anything would have been cold and stale with the short wait time.
Went there tonight with a group of 9 friends and got fused out, twice, because we pulled two tables together that were already next to each other... because we were there to hang out with our friends. If this is how I'm going to be treated when I'm in your restaurant spending my money, bringing you that many customers, then you obviously don't appreciate my business and we won't be back.After we were reprimanded like we were kindergarteners, we refused to purchase any food and decided to take our money elsewhere. Won't be back.
The reason why I gave this place this rating is because me and 3 other guest went to the restaurant on Thursday February 15 for dinner we got there at 8:15pm as soon as we walk through the door Gracie had this look on her face, she is one of the servers there . So we asked were they closed but mind you the internet hours say they close at 9pm. So Gracie said yes, because they was slow. So as we was about to turn around and leave the chef walked out of the back so Gracie looked at her and asked was she still cooking? the chef said yes. Gracie was very rude about the whole situation. I have been in this restaurant several times before and seen Gracie do the very same thing to other people of color. You hate to pull the race card but it was very obvious that she didn’t want us to dine in. After we sat down 2 other people came in that wasn’t together and they tried to get them to order takeout, not to dine but the customers insisted that they wanted to sit down and eat. So I asked Gracie why would she say they were closed and clearly they wasn’t and if they was why wasn’t the doors locked as she kept going back and forth with me I told her to stop talking to me and that I was going to file a complaint about what happened. I tried to get in touch the owner Keith Bradshaw with not having any luck.Our tab, tip included was around 135.00 pls a 30.00 dollar tip we left for our server Lala she was very nice and accommodating also we sent 20.00 to the chef for staying open to serve us. I’m sure the other two peoples tabs was at least 25.00 a piece so that’s over 250.00 in about 45 minutes that they would have lost out on if the chef hadn’t said she was still cooking. I feel our money spent there wasn’t good enough so we will not be going back. I travel for a living all over the country and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Plus this happened to be right in my own home town. We had other choices but we chose there. Very disappointed in this place.
Great salads and shrimp cocktail. Also the burgers are good and the Philly cheese steak is one of the best around. Good cocktails and wine selection too. Servers are friendly and fun!
Cool restaurant with great live music and good food/ drinks .Don't be in a hurry when you go, it takes a while to get your meal. Only complaint was the Prime Rib special...overcooked and tough but management handled it beautifully. Will definitely be back!
