Captain D's - Murfreesboro

The staff was courteous and helpful. The restaurant was clean including the bathroom. The food was hot and fresh. There sweet tea was wonderful.

So glad this eatery is in my neighborhood! Great catfish! The baked potatoes could be upsized. A go-to place for quick and tasty meals.

I had never been to a Captain D’s before now, but I’d have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. The service was great and the food was even better. I had the catfish and it was absolutely amazing. Not to mention the corn on the cobb was not dried out and was really good. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!

Me and my daughter went out for a girl's night. We ate here and ordered, well, a LOT.. It was excellent service and the food was really good! Would definitely recommend it. Prices are good and we were treated kindly! Really appreciate good service when we get it! Hard to come by these days.

If you want chicken delivered faster than the Zaxby's on Rutherford, this is your best bet. Not really a fan of fish, but I sure do love Captain D's chicken and hushpuppies from time to time. I showed up at around 8:30, place was pretty empty and slow which is always a positive. For a place ran by millennial teenagers, I don't think they can tell time because they were cleaning 4 hours before close. The staff was very helpful and friendly and acomendated me with extra sauce so thumbs up there. Not to mention, my food was on a paper plate. Now I can understand if they were so busy they had no clean dishware. But this is a Cap'n D's in the same town as a Whataburger, I doubt they're getting enough business to stay open. I'm not mad just confused because this place is supposed to be a fancy Long John Silvers lol
