Applebee's Grill - Murfreesboro

Well we should have listened to the Yelpers! I'll start with the positive- our server was very friendly! Now there were only 2 workers for Friday lunch and most of the time not a server in sight. There was a very weird smell and the place was filthy. Trash overflowing outside, sticky table, dirty silverware tray, food all over floor, nasty carpet, water on floor going to restroom (use caution), toilet wouldn't flush, dirty bathroom sink, broken paper towel dispenser, and I'm glad I didn't see the kitchen. We had bourbon street steak (cooked as ordered) with mashed potatoes and the bourbon street chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes. Both were swimming in butter. Mashed potatoes were runny and the chicken was way over seasoned. We are both feeling a little nauseated after leaving. Hopefully it was the excess butter. This restaurant needs help!!

This was the WORST experience I've ever had at any restaurant!!!! There is no way I would have served the food I received to ANYONE! I will NEVER be back and will spread the word to anyone who will listen. I waited almost 30 minutes for this???!!! Wish I had 2 more hands do I could give this food 4 thumbs down!!! $26, smh

I've been here a couple times and they are terrible with service and always short staffed. Everytime I've been there my food has beat my drinks because the bartender liked to socialize instead. Spend your money elsewhere!

Came here today for lunch and this place was basically empty like normal. Yet it still took awhile for us to get our appetizer and food. The pepsi started to loose color which means its out of syrup when it loos like ice tea versus pepsi and yet they still brought it out until us and another table said something. We were there for an hour do to the slow service as we already knew what we wanted when we walked in and sat down. the couple cheeseburger my husband ordered had one patty cut in half and stacked to make it look like 2 patties.. We won't be coming back here. There is a reason this place is always empty.

Great food I had an order of the boneless wings and an Arnold Palmer after waiting ten minutes. The food was about as good as you can expect from Applebees.
