Early Thursday dinner at Kammari, which had just opened after a short summer break. We tried houses pan, reindeer sausage and for dessert lappish bread cheese and Rhabarb Sorbet. A strong recommendation for this restaurant in the Muonio region.
Not fine food or a place for local food experience. Broad menu, pizzas, burgers, finger food, beef, chicken, salads and much more. The list consisted of more than 50 choices, which in turn usually tells about the quality of food. Unfortunately, most menus consist of deep fat-free elements that probably save time. Also tho the place was not crowded, waiting time was about 40 minutes for the food after the order. Food was difficult in fat and spices were not present. Rosti potatoes were strongly deep fritted to a sharp, hard to bite. Good size meals is a plus, no one leaves hunger and would therefore people / family directly after a long ski day. The wine card consisted of three red and three white, all cheaper quality. Unfortunately, the wine I got was mad. Good drink menu with different choices from candy to sour. Plus. Cosy atmosphere, good location and beautiful waiters.
The atmosphere of the place is beautiful, still it is more a street café than a real restaurant. The service was friendly and fast, so no complaints there. When it comes to food, they have a wide menu. It was nothing special, but at least the areas where generous. In summary, you get a decent value for money, but nothing special.
Delicious food in a lovely atmosphere!
