Dogpatch - Munising

I don’t know why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. Great food. It was busy, but the staff did a great job trying to get us a table quickly. The fried chicken tenders hit the spot.

The burger was a bit crispy on the edges but it was cooked medium as asked. And the Reuben surprisingly delicious!! A little sloppy but that’s fine for me. We were just there during Ice Fest.

The Dogpatch Restaurant aggressively advertises in the area in print and billboards. They point to a salad bar that sits idly with empty bins. Food was fine. Interior pretty dark. Menu could use an update. Lots of waitstaff, but sometimes left waiting.

Stayed in munising for a short vacation, stopped here to eat before we left. Definitely a quirky restaurant!! Was really awkward to walk in and no one was seating people until we almost seated ourselves, but they were on it with good service once we sat down. The food was pretty good, fried whitefish basket was tasty, should've asked for more tarter sauce and the slaw was meh....all in all, a decent place to get a bite to eat!

Good food at a price. Sandwiches were a good size and service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is when we first came in there was a wait that was long given the number of open tables but I guess this was due to staffing. Otherwise great food, would come again for a quick lunch.
