Tucked in a corner location, this place has chicken embedded right in its name. AMBIENCE: The place is small but clean. The washrooms were really rundown but the sitting area was clean. They had about 6 to 8 tables and they cooked right in front of their eyes. Yes their dining area shared the same room as their kitchen yet it wasn't stuffy or smelly. The kitchen was clean to SERVICE: The servers spoke decent English which was good because we don't speak a word of Spanish and finding someone to communicate with in English was a breather. They were courteous and helpful. FOOD: As we didn't eat beef or pork, it had become rather difficult finding a place serving chicken. I was surprised at this but then when we googled chicken on google maps, this restaurant showed up. We walked in with not many expectations because the place had no reviews on Google and didn't even show up on Yelp. Surprisingly though, the food was excellent. The chicken was grilled and was soft and juicy. My friend ate off half a chicken. Phew! The prices were cheap. 45 pesos... 3 dollars, for quarter chicken with a side of rice and beans. Their salsa was yummy too and it was hot which definitely is my taste. The only thing I missed here was Guacamole and it would have been a 5 star review if this place served it. It might not sound fair but yes that's my opinion. They had burgers and onion rings and fries but no guac. Also it would have been good to have one or two more options in chicken. But well what they served was good too. I can come back here again if I'm in the area :
