Two more dishes could be made vegan if you remove cheese or/and eggs. My partner had the lasagna (which removed the cheese), and it wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was great either. Such a shame!
We were in Pedro Pan during our visit to Purmamarca. It seems to be the only place with vegan options that are really food and not accompaniments. We ate the lentil burger that comes with salad and papills, we take lemonade. Very rich everything. The only bad thing I have to highlight and I think they should take into account if they serve a vegetarian and vegan audience, is that they have to take care of the smells. Being the small environment that makes it beautiful) filters the smells and smoke of the kitchen to the table area, and they have a chicken option as a dish. In a moment the place is full of chicken odor. Some vegans are also sensitive to odors. The attention is very good and the decoration very nice.
When you stop in Purmamarca, this is the only vegan option in the city except a salad in another place. However, it is actually a great option and I would certainly return if I were back in town. This small restaurant offers pizzas and vegetarian dishes on its daily changing menu. The pizzas have all kinds of veggie toppings and they can be ordered without cheese. I chose her Burger combo, which was a vegan lentilburger and a small toner of lemonade for a price. Before your meal you will get a small free starter of halved Andean potatoes and some spiced lens thing that is very delicious. I ordered the zapallo or local zucchini squash soup (which is vegan and she just top it with cheese to make it vegetarian) and it was absolutely delicious. Warm, creamy and hearty, it was exactly what I needed after a long day of driving around the area. Next, the burger was actually two lentil patties on a plate, accompanied by a small salad and some more of these Andean potatoes. The burgers were very tasty and secret. You could say that the food was prepared on the ground this morning. It felt like someone was eating at home instead of a restaurant, and I have to admit that I really liked it. The girls who served me – I guess they are the owners – were super nice and super happy to explain to me all their vegan friendly options. You've been constantly reviewing what I thought of the food or if Ali needed something else. Great service. But this place is only cash, so remember to bring some money. They are also very strict over their hours. I came about 10 minutes before they closed for lunch and they served me without problems. A couple that went in five minutes after lunch – as I sat halfway through my meal – said the kitchen was closed until dinner. Overall a cozy little place in the tiny town of Purmamarca, which is by far the most veggie-friendly option in the area. Eating is tasty and filling – although nothing spirit flowers taste wise. Definitely recommend.
The place is very picturesque. We have to watch it because we hardly found it. His own owner cares for him very lovingly. make a delicious lemonade and a spectacular pumpkin soup! my baby took it all! The dishes are made with great dedication and are very creative. You can also eat an amazing pizza! Don't miss it!
We discovered it almost at the end of our journey and from there we chose it as our place to eat. It is a small, warm place, with exquisite dishes for those who have to eat in clama and choose healthy and rich dishes. very good ratio price quality and attention is excellent. It's worth choosing a bread stew and ordering pumpkin soup. no doubt when I return to purmamarca I will return. thank you! =)
