Przekaż informację zwrotnąWanted to try llama meat, so we asked the locals and they told us to get to this place. In the outside there were signs of: wifi, visa, so it looked okay for me. When we got inside, and looked on the menu it was a bit more expensive than other places (about 150 peso for a dish), but we thought maybe it's a really good place and hence... troubles started with the wifi, that didn't work, if it's a cheap place okay, but if you charge more, provide more. It continued with them serving us more food than we asked, telling us it's the menu (which is more expensive), without us ordering the menu! Now, if they were offering the dessert in the end, at least it was honest, but they didn't offer it, just gave the entrada... when I got to the main dish the llama, it was so disappointing... the dish was served in a plastic plate rice and the llama stew touching each other, again if it was a very cheap place it's okay and authentic, but not in here... of course the quality of the food wasn't high as well, wasn't expecting much by now. In the end we explained them that we didn't take menu, so he didn't charge for the spare empanada. And... they didn't except credit card, I have to say that at least this one was written and my Spanish wasn't enough to understand, but it just added to the disappointment... Bottom line: I strongly disrecommend, low quality of food, and high priced, find another place.
We went to K'allapurca on the tip from our tour guide in the region, which is always fraught with danger due to conflict of interest / backhanders received.I had the chicken and my girlfriend had the llama, which she liked. Her folks had chicken also.Chicken was simple, not bad, not great but TBH we cook better at home.Would have left the place on a neutral note - but the the bill came in at $750ARS. This is extortionate for what we got (included drinks - non alcoholic - empanada entree and basic desert of fruit salad) even by tourism standards. We walked the town and found stacks of options advertising about half price of what we paid.Don't usually leave bad reviews but this one bothered me and stuck with me for some reason - perhaps I'm a bit sick of being taken for my tourist dollars. Maybe it was paying good money for poor service (couldn't get a menu - just get told the options, hence the covert pricing - and had to ask for plates to eat our entrees off on top of the typical loveless attitude)This is my third time to Argentina and I lived in the country for just under 18 months (my girlfriend and her family are also Argentinean and we shaking their heads at this price) so I understand the pressures of inflation on local businesses, but this was a joke.
We had dinner at K’allapurca on a very quiet night. There was no band playing Andean music although it is advertised in their flyers, but this may happen in the weekends. We loved the food. The empanadas were very tasty. My husband had the llama which he claimed was perfectly cooked, while I, being a vegetarian, enjoyed a quinoa dish. There were several vegetarian dishes, which is unusual in this region. They had a wine sale that night so we ended up with a great bottle of Malbec for a fraction of its cost. Service was attentive and very professional. And this is the only restaurant accepting credit and debit cards in Humahuaca. In all, highly recommended.
Malicious attention to moza. Bad ways. of our contingent I leave a child without lunch for taking the wrong order. I ordered grilled chicken with rice and they brought me boiled chicken with boiled rice with drop to nothing. I don't recommend it.
Our guide brought us here. No menu. The waitress told us Menu del dia. It was more than twice as expensive as other restaurants nearby. I think it was the tourist price. The food was okay a dish was pretty good the other just okay. Definitely overpriced. If it was half the price (which is probably for locals), then my rating would be different. The staff had settings. I wanted to use my debit card (it was advertised) as the costs were more than expected. You wouldn't take the card and I had to use my last money.
