Friendly local place Nice selection of meats and fish Loved sitting on the deck eating and watching hummingbirds on the flowering vines. Probably about as good a choice as you’ll get in town
The property is attractive, excellent landscaping, flowers, good curb appeal. The menu is surprisingly extensive, given the location. There are sections for beef, pork, vegetables, chicken, and fish. There is inside and outside dining, ample spacing around the tables, and the outdoor space is romantic and...uncrowded. It is clean, and several levels above the norm for this village. I sampled many items on the menu and was never disappointed. The family is exquisitely polite, and the service both friendly and impeccable, almost to the point of resembling an English tea room. The servings were American style, meaning enough for a large appetite. There is a sameness to the cuisine found in the village, and Yacaru Pora was a delightful exception. Delightful!
Good quality food, variety and pleasant atmosphere but shame there was no fish available on the menu when we were there.
The family that runs this restaurant the next-door Posada Rancho Jabiru are SO friendly welcoming (home away from home...really). We ate here every day during our three day stay in the Esteros del Ibera. Home cooking...simple, straightforward tasty. Prices are very reasonable.
