They were a bit short staffed so it was a bit of a wait. My tea was hot and delicious though and there were lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
Terrific spot to catch breakfast and a cuppa coffee. Love the patio, and it's dog-friendly.
I don’t drink coffee but the chai latte here is excellent. I also love the dining room’s atmosphere and all the fun art there. But do NOT go here for the food. Their food is extremely unimpressive. I also found their sandwich menu to be visually difficult to read and overwhelming; I almost immediately gave up on reading it, ordered something that seemed vegetarian by the name, and ended up *hating* it because it had mostly peppers on it. I get that they wanted to be cute and make their menu look like the food item it’s describing, but it makes some of the words extremely small and hard to read. Also the person taking our order seemed like they did *not* want to be there, but also that’s understandable because it was 7pm and it looked like they were the only person working—in charge of orders, drinks, and food. Seems, again, quite overwhelming!I may return here for an occasional drink, but I’m not getting their food again.
The artwork and work area are super cool, and the coffee drinks and food are tasty. But this place is awfully overpriced, even relative to other coffee shops that are already overpriced. My latte at most coffee shops comes out to around $6-7, whereas at the Cup it's over $11, and the size is not any larger.
