A very old restaurant almost 2decades old it will be<br/ Normal Restaurant serving North Indian and South Indian Food<br/ South Indian Food is really good their sambhar is famous in the vicinity<br/ Their Pav Bhaji is also tasty and has some different taste always<br/ Wont suggest the place for north Indian it is quite average<br/ Service is good but not the best<br/ Nothing such as good ambience decent old restaurant it is<br/ Thank You<br/ #rastekasasta2

This hotel is my go to place when i am looking for a sunday brunch. Not that it serves only brunch but food is nice all around, just that i am now used to it. Located very near to railway station, its a go to place...Go give it a try...

An old restaurant just outside borivali station. A good place to have udupi food before going to work or catching an outstation train. The service is bit slow. Being an old restaurant the food is good. <br/ <br/ Few pointers:<br/ The zomato menu card is old, so the prices have risen post GST. <br/ It takes home delivery only for daulat nagar and rawal pada, i was confused by the management regarding this aspect.

I had visited this place long time back and I vaguely remembered that they <br/ served good south indian food.  As I mentioned earlier that Borivali Area has <br/ shortage of breakfast places.  <br/ <br/ We did not want to eat street food so we ventured out and found this place.   Before entering this place I did not have much expectations.  I was expecting <br/ average place. But this place exceeded my expectations.  <br/ <br/ Ambiance: Typical Udipy ambiance.  No AC seating but fans through out.  8:30AM in the morning place was empty.  Seating is also not too bad.  It looks <br/ like they have changed the seating recently.  <br/ <br/ Waiter took our order promptly.   We ordered Idlis, Dosas, Fruit Juices, Soft Drink and Nescafe.  We were group of 4. Idlis were perfect.  Sambar was tasty.   But Coconut chutney was watery and tasteless.   Better chutney would have <br/ make the Idlis one of the best in western Suburb.  Even with watery chutney Idli <br/ was way above average.  <br/ <br/ Dosa was very crispy.  Personally I do not like very crispy Dosa but my dining partner enjoyed the crispy dosa.  Potato Masala filing inside the dosa was ok.  <br/ Fruit Juices were average.  Nescafe was average too. Coffee cup was too small.  I <br/ have gotten used to Starbucks and Cafe Coffee day quantity so Udipy coffee cup is way small for me. I usually need to order 2 cups to satisfy my coffee cravings. <br/ <br/ Fruit Juices(Cocktail  and Orange were good.<br/ <br/ Prices were very reasonable.  Value for money is definitely there.  I visited same <br/ place 2 days later for breakfast again.  <br/ <br/ So if you are in Borivali East area,  I suggest this restaurant for South Indian food.  If you want fancier restaurants for food then you need to travel on <br/ Western Express Highwway towards Andheri.  <br/ <br/ Unfortunately  There are no fine dining restaurants around Borivali East area, Uma is the best option.<br/ <br/ Over all rating:  3.5 for Value for food and good quality south indian food.

A small south Indian restaurant near Borivali east railway station. Serves good south Indian food with great beverages. Have been here with a group of friends last evening for snacks. We ordered Masala dosa, Idli sambhar, Vegetable Toast sandwich, tea Nescafe. The quantity of food for great. Taste of the food is just like a south Indian meal. Vegetables were used well too. Nescafe was correct in sugar and flavours. Loved it.Decor ambience is pleasant too. Highly recommended.
