The Cloughan Inn - Mullingar

Long time since I was last here and I’m glad I called in, menu to suit all tastes. We ordered 2 roast beef dinners and we were by no means disappointed. It was delicious from start to finish. Beef was superb tasty and plenty of it. The vegetables were cooked and a good variety of them, mash potatoes and roast potatoes were delicious. Yorkshire pudding and some gorgeous homemade stuffing and proper gravy. Top marks !! Service was quick and staff were very friendly We will definitely call here again

The food at this restaurant was amazing! I started with chicken wings and potato skins. The chicken curry was incredibly delicious and creamy. The creamy mushroom pasta was packed with flavor. The decor might be a bit old-fashioned, but the food was perfect! I would definitely recommend this place!

The lunch menu was fantastic and the service was top-notch. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, something that is hard to come by these days. The spicy chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had, and the cajun chicken fillet burger was delicious. A few weeks ago, I saw someone order the cattle burger and it looked just as appetizing. The same waitress was working that day, and she was just as friendly as before. I can't wait to return!

The food was excellent, especially the black pudding starter. The service was friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
