The cheesecake didn’t measure up to what I remembered from Holy Tomato either; I only managed to eat half before tossing it out. Overall, the flavor of the one slice I tried was merely average, and I ended up discarding the rest of the pizza. My suggestion is to learn how to make pizzas properly—it's the essence of your business—or ensure that there's better quality control in the kitchen. It was clear that the pizza was excessively soggy and should not have been served. If you're looking for good pizza, I recommend trying another place; there are at least 25 others nearby, and Naples is just a 45-second drive away.
It was a terrible experience. Proceed with caution when placing an order. The pizza was soggy, flavorless, and undercooked. Overall, it was a waste of money.
The pizza at Tomato on Main is extremely overpriced for what you receive. We usually enjoy our pizzas from Marino’s, but decided to give this place a shot last night. We ordered the cowboy pizza, which is supposed to be topped with sausage, onion, and mozzarella. Unfortunately, the dough was completely soggy in the center, causing the pizza to fall apart when we tried to pick up a slice. The sauce tasted like a can of petite diced tomatoes with no additional seasoning—bland and watery. There was hardly any sausage or onion on the pizza, and not even enough mozzarella for each slice to have a bit of cheese. I wouldn't return or spend $23 on a pizza like that again.
I was quite disappointed with the pizza. I had high expectations, but they were not met. The pizza was so undercooked and soggy that I had to take it apart and recook it myself. This is not what I consider acceptable for a premium takeout. Additionally, the sauce lacked seasoning, so I had to add several spices just to make it palatable.
I was really looking forward to trying this pizza, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. The sauce is tasty, and the crust thickness is on point, but the cheese is of low quality and has a cheap taste. The pizza also could have used more time in the oven, as the center was quite soggy. Given the premium price, I expected a premium product, but it just didn't deliver. Overall, the individual components seemed better than the pizza as a whole. I'm disappointed, to say the least.
