Joshua's Kitchen - Mulberry

Disappointing how inconsistent the service is for a simple breakfast. Visited three times. Nothing special other than a break on the price of coffee during the week for seniors. There are three similar breakfast places in close proximity, Egg Station, Joshua's and Wooden Spoon. None try to be better than the other in decor, atmosphere or food... Service is better at Egg Station and Wooden Spoon... Inflation and costs for staying open have cut into portions and sides like ham, sliced way too thin at all three places. Home fries that are griddle made are better than deep fried chunks... Sorry Joshua's... Struggling to stay afloat hit the basics too hard and customers can do better at home with some effort.

My go to place for breakfast and a home cooked comfort meal

Food was bland at best, borderline gross. I cook better and I'm not that good of a cook. Service was absolutely unimpressive, atmosphere wasn't horrible.

Was here several years ago, and it was packed for breakfast, this time not so. One young server for 6 groups of 2 to 4. We had to ask two times for coffee refills as ours had gotten cold in the wait. Order took 40 minutes to get to our table after ordering. There was no rush or care from the older gentleman behind the bar to attend to others or help the one server.Should have seen the recent reviews, and I would not have come in. I love to eat at mom and pops, but how do they expect to survive? If you don't step up your game knowing your patrions are writing they won't come back as a review. Doesn't make sense to me.

Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back. Checked online menu never showed shellfish on the menu. After ordering our drinks, I saw they have shrimp on the paper menu. Immediately explain my allergy elder gentleman and inquired about the shrimp how the shrimp is cooked. He informs me it’s however we want to have it; completely not understanding I am deathly allergic. We let him know that I can’t eat here due to the allergy and shrimp and need to leave. He charges us $6.21 for 2 drinks we hadn’t drank out of with a no cash additional charge. Has I known they served shrimp, I never would have ordered a drink.
