Perazzo Ristorante - München

Food was superb, from the salads to the carpaccio to the fish. Great wine selection but rather pricey. Friendly staff and excellent service. One of the best Italian places in Munich.

Not easy to find a parking. Pleasant interior and helpful staff. This is what you expect from a good osteria. Food quality easily above average. They had wild fish in generous helpings. Wine list all right & as usual too expensive. A clear winner and worth 4.0 points. Shall come back with greatest pleasure. Real Italy.

I have dined at Perazzo a number of times while on business in Munich. It is in a convenient location, just a short walk North and West from the Odeonsplatz U-Bahn (subway) stop, just one stop North of the Marienplatz. I have always had great food and service here, so I look forward to dining here every time I'm in Munich. I love their calamaretti (baby calamari), which is grilled and served over a bed of arugula. Everything I have had here is excellent. I think there are a few outside tables, but I generally go there in the cold months, so I can't say if these are good or not.

I arrived with my wife and two young kids as tourists hoping to enjoy a change from the same German staples of sausage and schnitzel. The place was empty except for one table.The exchange we have with the server was short and bizarre. He looks us up and down somewhat disapprovingly and says "no pizza". I was kind of taken aback so asked, "huh?". He replies "yes, no pizza" and walks back into the restaurant.I thought this kind of snooty attitude went out in the 80s. Maybe we did not look "high class" enough for his establishment but we have been happy customers of hawker stalls or Michelin starred restaurants around the world and never been rudely turned away at the door. We went on to spend our money at another more welcoming restaurant nearby.

Very enjoyable dinner here, food was excellent, especially the carpaccio & the buffalo mozzarella ravioli. The service was good (albeit limited English spoke by wait staff on the evening we were there), & pricing reasonable (around 75 Euro for 2 course dinner for 2, no wines or beer).
