Colorful tent-like dach decoration, statues of Indian gods and gods and the quintessential Mughalera paintings. their card payment system did not work and we had to return to an ATM to withdraw cash. then we sat down and got greasy, old menus that felt dirty. they also did not check the green passes before people entered their restaurant. to add these already bad first impressions, we were served partly grilled chicken that goes from tandoori chicken, okra curry floating in oil, otherwise known as bhindi sabji and a colored cream-colored paneer butter masala . the wiper was lagerbought and could be clearly distinguished by its rubber-like texture. that was my N-th-Greens Experience with Indian restaurants in Munich, the most inauthentic North Indian cuisine cooked mainly for the German quantity. what disturbs me most is the audacity this place to call it fine indian cuisine at a certain time of its existence and the unreasonably high prices of such under moderately directed. In summary, this was nothing else in terms of food, ambiente, service and pricing. the last visit for me was very disappointed.
The restaurant has a nice quiet atmosphere, but I found eating unusual, with the white Basmati rice mainly tasting a bit stale and granular.
That was my first time I ordered from ashoka indian cuisine and young I was disappointed when eating never arrived. I made the order by phone and asked for the delivery. the man who took up the order did not speak German and English, not until the point where we had many difficulties in understanding each other. in the did they even put me on stop!!! to answer another phone and I heard he took one there. he took my order and he said he meant one of the order contains gluten, he shouldn't think he should know! then he took my phone number, I asked how long it will take, he said in the hour. then 90 minutes later I asked myself where the food is, so I called back to hear that they do not deliver because I live too far away maybe 3 km away and that they had sent an email about it, which is impossible because he did not ask for my email first place. I really hope that this man was a night sentence for someone else who can at least sympathize with the client to call them if the order cannot be delivered. this type of service is very confusing and annoying. Maybe they have too many customers to act like that? I'm sure they won't see me anymore or hear me.
We had a vegetarian meal and two main meat dishes (one of them spicy,) plus typical Indian brot. everything was good and the owner was very helpful.
The lunch special with the soup is great. Portions are generous enough and the hot Chai very authentic. Spiciness is also scalable and my son loved the hotter version. Flat bread was fab.
