This place was recommended to us by our airbnb host. We were not disappointed by the pizza and there was so much I had to take some home! Also had some lovely wine. We visited a second time, this time I ordered a pasta dish and my partner the calzone, the pasta was nice, but left me hungry, meaning I had a nice chocolate pud, my partner also wished he has opted for pizza again. They do have the menu in English, we were offered it the first time, but not the second, a French family next to us was struggling with the German menu so told them to ask for the English version
The Italian restaurant Il Cigno in the Müncher Wörthstraße is a rather inconspicuous interior from the outside. There are a few tables and chairs on the way to the restaurant where you can settle. Unfortunately, traffic noise is disturbed here, and so the cosiness on the track remains strong. So if you choose to stay in the restaurant, you can enjoy the time you spend in Il Cigno. The guest room is beautiful and furnished with Italian flair without having to look cheesy or overloaded. The dishes are all well prepared and delicious. There are no overly refined delicacies, but exquisite and authentic Italian cuisine beyond pasta and pizza. A small drop of wormwood is that lion is given brown, but this is too painful. The service is not too warm, but friendly and accommodating. You can recommend Il Cigno to friends of Italian cuisine in Munich Haidhausen.
We came here looking for something Italian that was near the subway since it was pouring. we have been happy to find this place (thanks to yelp! . it is one.
They are open all day, the place is sweet and charming, but eating is lacking. no tomato, basilikum or fresh mozzarella on my marguerita pizza.
