Fresh Coral Seafoods - MUDGEERABA

We decided to try this fish and chips one time and have been back many times since. The fish and calamari are cooked to perfection every time. Might be a little pricy but you are definitely getting great quality and great serves for what you're paying. The potato cakes were a little too oily last time. However I recommend that everyone give them a try if anyone is looking for a new local fish and chips shop.

After reading the reviews for Fresh Coral Seafoods we decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. The chips and potato scallops (potato cakes) were nice and crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and definitely not oily or soggy. The fish and the calamari were fresh and cooked perfectly. The battered fish was a little oily but the fish was delicious so we are more than happy to return and try the crumbed or grilled versions!Compared to some other fish n chip shops in the area this is a clear winner and definitely our new family favourite!

I travel from Brisbane to this fish shop. There is nothing anywhere that compares for quality and high standard of seafood . Well worth the drive , cannot recommend it highly enough .

Staff super helpful. Fish always cooked beautifully. You pay by the weight of the fillet - always high quality. Oysters shucked daily but the selection of local fish is terrific - sweet lip, red emperor snapper, barra - if you know how to cook, this is place to go for your perfect fish. Oh, and they do awesome fish and chips. Thanks Platon, Jackie and team!

Too much imported seafood seen as a standard. Very expensive if you choose to go other. Understand local fish will be more, but what you charge is well over the top. Today I end up driving to Burleigh or other.Bring in more local seafood. Local flake and cod would be seen great move.
