I absolutely adore this restaurant! It has a charming ambiance and the food is fantastic. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, though I didn't catch his name—he had brown hair and a long beard, and he was such a nice guy! I ordered the steak and eggs, which were delicious, while my husband had the burger and loved every bite of it. The coffee is excellent as well! I highly recommend you give this place a try!

Jelly Cafe is our top choice for breakfast in Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect. The quality of the food, its presentation, and the service are all outstanding. We've traveled all over the country and even abroad, but we always end up comparing other dining experiences to Jelly Cafe, which we believe stands out above the rest. While the restaurant could benefit from more space, they do have another location on Quentin Dundee in Palatine for those seeking a larger setting. The negative review is likely from a jealous competitor or a dissatisfied former employee.

The front-of-house service is slow, disorganized, and often inattentive. Although the food is still enjoyable, the service is far from satisfactory. I witnessed the manager responding to a complaint from another table, and to my surprise, she rolled her eyes as she walked away, which I found quite unprofessional. The owner might want to think about bringing in a more effective manager to enhance the overall experience.
