Courtyard By Marriott Mt. Laurel

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff were great. They need to invest in new pull out sofas. Very uncomfortable.Safety: Went in the back entrance to my room. Well lighted and secure entry.

Rooms are clean, beds are nice and comfy, however, room decor is outdated.Hotel lobby is pretty good, staff is helpful and courteous. However, hotel hallways are a bit outdated and some places carpet is a bit dirty. Gym is small and equipment is outdated, pool has been closed for maintenance for a while. Lately courtyard has been closed. There is a bistro with pretty decent breakfast and lunch/ dinner options. Bistro staff is courteous and helpful, bistro service is pretty good.Rooms: Rooms are clean, beds are nice and comfy. However, room decor is a bit outdated.Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants nearby, good access to highways, neighborhood Walmart across the street. Planet fitness nearby.

The family of Marriott is always a good place to stay. But I have to say, if you advertise a pool, free, breakfast, a restaurant or whatever it is… Please back it up and actually have it available. The hot weather of New Jersey for the weekend, we thought about getting a place for the pool. They advertise that there's a pool, and it is available on the Travel agent website, the Marriott website, even the hotels location website. Even inside the room, they have pool hours set up so all we were thinking about is swimming in the pool! But the pool is not available! Apparently it is down for maintenance. Now that is fine, I understand things break… Maintenance needs to happen, preventive maintenance if possible. but you should have a Plan B or a secondary option for your consumers... Maybe have a shuttle for people to go to one of the four other locations really close by and enjoy their pool! I don't know, anything any option would be great. May be a free or $20 voucher in the restaurant downstairs! Which would probably get you a order of wings, and one beverage. But with 98° weather, people would love to go swimming… Especially when they're paying for a place which has a pool included. Don't think it's fair John marriot!

The manager Brittany Chaves was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Do not recommend this hotel.

Easy location to get to, rooms was in good shape. The staff at the bar and housekeeping were great. Biggest disappointment was that we picked this hotel due to being listed has having an indoor pool, including signage in the rooms and hallways, only to find out the pool has been closed for over 2 years! without an open date know. The front desk staff were not able to assist us in accessing the Westin pool across the street, will not return to this location if the pool is not working in the future.
