The place was hopping when we stopped in on a recent road trip! The fruit, yogurt, and granola parfait was FANTASTIC! I was tickled to find some retro candy for sale and purchased pop rocks and a candy necklace for my grandson Kid-friendliness: So many moms with their littles were there! This was a pleasant surprise driving to the OBX and looking for a little breakfast. Amazing fluffy biscuits with sausage gravy for me, eggs and toast for my husband. Came out quick and before we left we got some bakery goodies for the family. Coffee, tea, order ahead and grab and go. Conveniently located one block of 168 at a light, easy to get to going north or south. Highly recommend

I love what they have going on but everyone that works there need more customer service training. When I wanna start their day…I expect smiles. I will make coffee at home from now on. Also need more vegan friendly choices. I offered to use my own cup for coffee because I am aware of my environmental footprint…barista told me to just pour it in my cup? as for the owners response….I behoove u to just observe service. I would take my comment as an opportunity to be better and not be upset with my response. I used to own a cafe myself and run a successful bakery. I’m have gone through managers course in good safety so I am aware u can pour it in someone’s cup. I am not alone in this comment. My husband and I were both there several times. Take this for what it’s worth and not get upset at ur customers response.

This is my favorite local cafe! I order an iced caramel macchiato every time I go and it is consistently the same taste and quality. The staff are super friendly and quick (as they can be, sometimes it’s really busy because they are just that good! the breakfast burrito is also AMAZING, you can almost split it with a friend or save half for later.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they now have an arcade in their new location!
