The Emerald Hour - Mountain View

I ordered as grilled octopus for take out. I let the restaurant manager/host (ON THE PHONE) know that I was allergic to thyme/rosemary. He played it off as everything was OK, fine and that the potatoes did not have this. However, when I got there, 15 20 minutes later, this guy with a beard let me know the grilled octopus was marinated in it. How about checking before I waste my time going there, or calling back the number I called you from? Then the manager guy brought me a day old pastry (going to throw away, Im sure it was night time), and tried to make up for it, with a poor attempt at a gross pastry. Total waste of time.

Everything about this place is amazing. The food, cocktails, service and ambience are brilliantly executed.
