Mr. Sun Tea - Mountain View

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. It is a high-quality experience that surpasses many other places that prioritize quantity over quality. A major highlight is their boba drinks, which have a subtle and delightful flavor with a perfect texture, unlike the trendy fruit caviar popping boba. The atmosphere is calm and serene, and the restaurant is clean and well-kept. It is a lovely place to relax and work for the afternoon. Another positive aspect is that it is off the beaten path, so it is not as crowded and hectic as the main road.

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have higher ratings. I had a very pleasant experience here - it was fast, friendly, and easy. My drink was delicious and the lady who helped us (I think she was the owner) was very friendly and even let us sample different types of boba. Mr. Sun was in the process of rebuilding the place when I visited, so the outdoor area was closed. I tried the liquid sugar red bean smoothie with matcha jelly and would give it a 4 out of 5. The matcha smoothie was solid, not too sweet or too bitter, and had a good amount of matcha jelly. It was a well-balanced drink and I had no issues with it. Overall, it was a great matcha experience!

I would not recommend returning to this restaurant. The caramel pudding milk tea and cloud foam milk were not enjoyable. I would give it a 2-star rating for the location, ambiance, and friendliness of the staff, but 0 stars for taste.

Her boba is amazing, and I really like the mr. sun mango special, is very tasty. I liked all the drinks I have there, I give him a 4 stars instead of 5, because the service could be much better. I often go there and in the rule I have to wait a lot to get the drink, twice we have something different than what we have ordered, and instead of changing it or saying excuse, they just said oh, we didn't know it. and I had to go with something similar as I wanted, but not the same. Maybe if there are many people, the staff feels a little overwhelmed, but I guess it will be better!

Wonderful open area and ambience at this Mr. Sun Tea location. I got the Mr. Sun Special w/ Strawberry Boba and it was delicious--the flavored pearls weren't overwhelming and complimented the drink well. There's one-hour free parking right outside, and the underground lot next to it has free parking for longer as well.
