Mizu Sushi Grill - Mountain View

Staff was great, and it's a nice enough restaurant, atmosphere wise, but for the area, the food was disappointing. Just standard sushi, not much better than you could pick up at a local grocery store portions were huge, but given how mediocre the quality, not really a win there. Will not be returning.

My experience here was terrible. Not knowing what was in store for me I asked them for enough food for two modest appetites. What they gave me was enough food for a family of five. The food was OK but I think I have had better. Not too flavorf

Good sushi joint. The rolls were of considerable size. I had the Mizu Jumbo and Green Dragon roll. They were delicious. For dessert, I had their Res Bean ice cream. I've never had it before but it wasn't so overwhelmingly sweet. It was right in the middle when it came to sweetness. It’s a large portion good for two, the ice cream. The place is considerable in size with covered outside seating. It's on a corner of a major street so it can be loud outside. The parking space is shared with outer establishments so it's tight. But I highly recommend this place.

I am really upset with this place. We came for my mom’s birthday lunch and sat outside. The food was mediocre and service was good but I kept feeling part of the chair/wicker poke into my pants. At one point I felt like my pant threads were being nicked because of their chair. Later when I went home, there was a giant hole where the chair nicked my pants. And those were my favorite pants, with the brand no longer in production. DO NOT SIT OUTSIDE AT THIS LOCATION OR YOU RISK YOUR CLOTHES GETTING RUINED!!!
