I usually like to go for the daily specials because they usually have something unique about them. There are interior seats, semi-indoor (it is like a sunroom), and terrace seating. There are some larger picnic tables to appeal to larger groups and the terrace is really nice when the weather is good. You order your food in front and bring it to your table.
Country Gourmet is a great place for brunch... they have a regular menu and daily specialties with different ingredients every day: omelet, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches, etc. It is a very casual place; You place your order when you go first and they bring the food to your table. All I tried was delicious... always very fresh and the portions are big. They're also open for dinner, but I never tried.
The first thing I noticed is that you need to order and pay your food before you sit down! I hated the fact that people waited behind me while I tried to decide what I wanted. I felt like I stopped everyone. I also don't care about this policy, because that means you have to pay the congratulations before you are served at all, so I gave only 15% tip. I'm glad I did this too because the service was a standard. I ordered the standard bean and egg breakfast with Homefries and a cookie. I waited too long for the food, the galle brought me toast instead of a cookie, which itself was not warm when it arrived, and I had to hunt for ketchup. The eggs were fine, bacon was good, the potatoes were cut smaller than I was in Homefries, but were good. When I left, I heard the lady behind me telling the server that she had ordered a cookie instead of toast. Overall, this is a strange place that no longer wanted me.
