Alexander's Patisserie - Mountain View

Came here after hearing a lot of good things and wow I really love this place! The shop is super cute and modern inside with a wide variety of beautiful and delicious pastries. I had an earl grey raspberry one as well as a chocolate hazelnut which was excellent! For the quality of the pastries I felt that the prices were super reasonable. Seating is a bit limited after dinner time so definitely consider that! Can?t wait to be back

Me and my husband want to try this pastries as based good review in yelp. So we order Almond croissant and curry sandwich with hot cocoa and Cappuccino. I like the combination of sweet croissants with coffee. As we had lots of sweet We definitely will visit again for delicious pastries and macrons . Yes this place is very pricey as based on other pastries in mountain view.

If I were only rating based on flavor and service, this restaurant would receive a higher rating. Unfortunately, on this occasion, Alexander's Patisserie only receives one star. The good: The service was prompt and friendly, and the flavors were enjoyable. I had a hazelnut pastry and my husband had the monkey bread. I ordered a matcha latte while my husband had a regular latte. The bad #1: The portion size was deceiving, as the hazelnut pastry turned out to be only the thin ring part - the chocolate top made it appear to be a filled circle, which was misleading. Despite the good flavor, it was not enough to justify the price. The bad #2: The café was extremely dirty. The floor looked as though it had not been cleaned or swept in days, with a layer of dirt, dust, trash, and dead bugs accumulating on the window baseboard where we were seated. Additionally, there was a sticky substance next to our table covered with bugs, which completely ruined my appetite once I noticed it. I had higher expectations of cleanliness from Alexander's.
