Taco John's - Mountain Home

The chef who prepared my six tacos tonight deserves a five-star rating. I felt like a rabbit munching on the abundance of lettuce in my tacos, but they balanced it out with just the right amount of beef, so I didn't feel like I was eating vegan. I definitely would have left a tip if I had known my meal would be this good!

I'm really impressed to see someone putting in so much effort to revitalize a business, especially during these challenging times! I highly recommend trying the Potato Oles.

I stopped by for a quick lunch with my family and ordered a crunchy chicken burrito. What I got was essentially fried chicken tenders, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and nacho cheese sauce rolled up in a wrap. There was an overwhelming amount of cheese, but the dish lacked flavor and was surprisingly small for $6. The hot sauce was disappointing—more bland than spicy, tasting more like ketchup. The service was decent, though they did forget our drinks. Additionally, the outdoor restrooms had broken locks, which added to the experience in an unfortunate way. I appreciate trying something new, but this wasn’t authentic Mexican food, and it felt overpriced.

This place hasn't been remodeled in a long time but don't let it fool you, the food and service are pretty good! My favorite item is the chicken street tacos. Always good and fresh! Service is always pleasant and the place is kept clean. I also like the potato olés. Decent Mexican fast food place in downtown Mountain Home!

I just went into my local Taco Johns and ordered a quesadilla taco meal with a water to drink and mild sauce on the side. I received sweet tea and hot sauce instead of the latter. And I found a piece of paper inside one of my quesadilla tacos melted to the cheese.
