It’s frustrating that despite this experience, they didn’t even offer a gesture like complimentary appetizers on my next visit. We even bought an extra pint of salsa because we used to love it. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be going back. The meat was dry too, and there are other Mexican restaurants we can try instead. It’s not just about the salsa; that was simply the tipping point. It’s a shame, as they used to care about quality.

Honestly, it was absolutely terrible. Living in the area for about 4 years and decided to finally try. Strawberry Enchilada tasted rancid. Wife had chicken chimi and it was terrible. Not sure what happened here, but definitely blown away from bad meals. We've been waiting for chips for a long time? Come on. Please don't waste your time. El charros will never disappoint!

Always a delight! The tables and booths were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive, and we made sure to mention the manager before we left. This was the third time we’ve enjoyed fantastic food here! Kudos to Olivia, our attentive server!

Great service, good food! El Chico has always been a favorite for years and they are not disappointed.

To be fair, I understand that this is Texas-Mex cuisine in Arkansas, and I might just be used to tortillas from elsewhere. The margaritas came in a tall glass and tasted pretty good, although they seemed a bit light on tequila, in my opinion. There’s plenty of parking in the private lot, making it great for large groups, and you can choose whether or not to wear a mask. The ambiance was not what I expected; it’s simple and clean, lacking strong Tex-Mex vibes, but it was comfortable nonetheless. I’ll definitely give this restaurant another try and order something different, but I won't be getting that combo plate again!
